There was an anime i seen a long time ago, around the time when i used to watch FMA on tv before they took it off, where as a result of a failed transmutation caused by a trickster wolf, Ed was turned into what you see before you. on a solo journey, he travels searching for a way to turn himself back (and no, its not the Philosopher's Stone) i was sure to put extra detail into this one ^^ the shading was actually much lighter when i colored Ed, but i had to darken it when i did the background, it was the only way i could make them blend. pointing out some points of detail: metalic items have always been a sort of specialty to me. i have gathered all of my knowings of it and fused it together to make the perfect coloring style, therefor adding much detail to the automail that from what i've gathered, lots of people have trouble drawing (i can't see why)
i DO NOT own this character or design, but the pic is (c)me, however i do not know who made the anime. as far as i know it was fan made, but the voices are all very relevant to the originals so i'm not quite sure...

Awesome! I love your interpretation of him as a wolf!

Now for the critique:
The snarl seems a bit off, probably because there's no lines under the nose to show his front fangs are bared. Another thing is the blood below his front legs and in the background looks completely different from each other; try to make it look the same.

But really, a great picture! I especially love how you did the automail, I never have the patience for it >.<

yeah, he might eat you though XD just try not to mention how short he is =3 leave that to someone else, and then, you have a perfect attack dog XD *i'd hate to be your mailman X3*

aww, thanks ^^ and about the blood thing: yeah, i know what you mean ^^' the blood below his front paws was meant to look as if it was smeared, but i've never been able to make a realistic effect, but being one for gore, i've worked up some special techniques for blood, especially drops or splats. now the automail on the other hand... as said in the description, its not really all that hard, the design is just complex *blame Winry for that <.<* but my dad's a mechanic, so i'm used to stuff like that ^^ now for overall thanks, your the only person who ever even attempts a critique on my work :3 most others disregard any of my work, only interested in my comments, favs and my watch, but you take the time to carefully go throgh the details and the flaws, and i apreciate that ^^ sorry for the long reply, but once i start i get a little carried away ^^'

-giggle- He'd definitely make a great attack dog. <3 And trying not to mention how short he is... may be a problem. It's just so tempting. XD If I get the urge, I'll find an enemy, tell them my joke and make them tell it to WolfEd. >=D That's one way of getting rid of the enemies I have. MUAHAHAH! Be afraid... be VERY... afraid. -shot-
